These are made from driftwood that I found down at Raven Bay. They’re really easy to make. Emma and I saw some like these at the wool store in Powell River and the large ones sell for $8 each, so I thought I’d make some. These were my first, but I will probably experiment with different styles and add fancy edges and stuff with the router. The darker ones are oiled with boiled linseed oil, the lighter coloured ones are just raw.

Still, I quietly devour this world  bit by bit
In the short time within which I am able
