Your a Doll

This is a doll I’ve been working on for a pretty special little person.  As of right now this nameless doll has only one outfit but I’m hoping to make a second one for her before this little person’s first birthday.  The doll is made of cotton and stuffed with polyester fiber fill, her hair is  brown yarn sewn on to a wig type thing and applied to the doll after she was put together.  Her clothes are all 100% cotton and fasten in the back with velcro, and last but not least her face is hand painted with washer safe fabric paint.

I’m very pleased with how this doll turned out and it was VERY fun to make, so I’m feeling there might be more to come in the future. So stay tuned!

Thanks!

Harem

These are my new Harem sweat pants,  the most comfy pair of pants I have by far!  These pants were made by me, for me :)  Rob thinks they look funny but he’s a little on the boring side when it comes to clothes so I don’t take him too seriously.  Since this is the first pair I’ve made I definitely learned a few things I would try differently next time but over all I was happy with the end result and will be making many more out of all kinds of different fabrics in the near future!

I know these are a little unconventional but I encourage everyone to try a pair of harem pants before you discredit them for being too weird, they have a way of growing on you.  At first I was on the fence about the look of all that excess fabric in the crotch area but now I really like it, it’s got an exotic look to it while still being modern because of being made out of fleece back jersey.  Any ways my over all point is GIVE THEM A TRY!  you’ll fall in love too I’m sure

p.s. I can’t wait for summer so I can wear these around with sandals and a tank top and when I do I’ll post pictures :)

Henry

This is Henry,  he was made out of two socks, some ribbon, two flower buttons, eco stuffing, and thread.

hes not as pretty as my other pals but he’s just as cool!

There were a lot of things learned in making this little dude so the next time around will hopefully be a lot easier  and push the boundaries a little more.

So this is Henry and he says hello!
